Photos from the intake of 5 American Eskimo dogs into NMDR's facility last night (3/10/10). All are in overall good health, but VERY timid and VERY scared.
The dogs were transported by Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue from WA to WY. NMDR met them in Cheyenne for pick up.
These dogs were part of 371 that were rescued in the closure of a large, horrible puppy mill in the state of WA in August 2009. Our hearts are full knowing their forever homes will be found soon.
371 precious dogs. How do these puppy mills get away with this? It boggles the mind that humans can do this to animals that feel the same pain & emotions as we do. I am so happy for Pirate, Xena, Rocket, Shep & Telly that they were rescued & taken in by NMDR. More love is in the future for these precious dogs.

These are really lovely photos of the American Eskimo. They're very adorable and they seem to be quiet dogs. But because of their breeding history, they are just one of the most vocal dog breeds.
Cheers,
Natalie and my american eskimo dog
